- Then expand the non-finite verbal to a non-finite verbal phrase (gerund, participial, infinitive) that is equivalent in meaning.
- EXERCISE 22: Create verbal phrases using the given patterns.
- EXERCISE 23: Answer any one of the following to create new sentence patterns using verbal phrases.
- EXERCISE 24: Identify verbal phrases, name their types and state the words they modify.
- EXERCISE 25: Identify verbal phrases, name their types and functions.
